sorry hit return by accident....
Still got stuttering playback maybe not quite as bad but unfortunatly it seems to be combined with Vsync problems. I get multiple tearing lines even with 360x288 files (also still stutters with them as well)
I dont get these issues with mediaplayer other software.
The output quality looks very jagged around moving edges.
Essentially still unusable for any slow footage/panning.
I'm pretty disappointed.

win Xp home and pro
9700(mobile) and 5700ultra
athlon 64 3700+ athlon 2600+
avi 360x288 (process 400x300-720x576 16 and 32 bit) 720x576 (process and output 720x576 16 and 32bit)

The tearing has been sorted out by driver regression, stuttering/frame sticking still there at all resolutions except 320x240
I've had some non reapeatable weirdness with live inputs as well. But nothing major. I still dont know what to do about the next gig where quality matters, the frame stutters are unacceptable at any show with profile, I'd much rather loose frame rate than have this stutter, but even encoding at 12.5fps doesnt fix it
