Hello again,
Who can help me? I try to get a live video stram from my analog camcoder. There is no problem to capture it into Video Studio or the movie maker (tool comes from XP Home Edition). I use the ATI Rage Theater Video Capture Driver: When I double cklick onto display (format/source/display) and get no reaction. I found also no menu to set up the video stream source (Video Composite, Video Tuner or Video SVideo) like in VideoStudio 6.

you have to drag the capture driver name from the list of generators to a channel, just like you do with an effect.

I had the same problem, i just got a Hi8 camera which i want to use next to my UBS web cam, cauze the image quality is much better and my gfx card imports it better (in other programs that is). but when i try to use it in resolume i just get a white screen ? (on the thumbnail) and a black screen when i put it on a channel. as eric said, there is no option to be found where to select the source stream, which in other programs is a menu option. the gfx card is a msi gforce 4 with s-video and composite in.
any clue ?
thanx

btw: Resolume 1.1beta2 performed gr8 @ Sound/Vision afterparty ! very steady, just the preview window when browsing through files broke (which i have a problem with every time and still the threshold is blue/purple instead of white/black).

Aaah at what Sound&Vision afterparty did you play? I went to the Jetlag afterparty.
If you set your display settings to 16 bit and you will have the black and white threshold

magic! but we have fixed this stupid little thing allready for the next release
Sometimes setting your diplay settings to 16 bit also fixes the capture device, so maybee you can try that to get your live camera input working. If you double click the capture driver in the generators list you get various options to configure the input.
