Uncompressed AVI w Alpha

I am not sure if it is supposed to but I was able to load uncompressed AVI files on R5 before. Just for some anim testing, before exporting to DXV.
Couldn´t load them on R6.

I've tried to load some avi files have, but they are all compressed.
I have sound, but no Video. How does this look on your side, when you say you couldn't load them?
Do the partly load or not at all?
Osx, or windows?
If you could upload a small sample file in original format that would be helpful.

On my end, if I load .avi files I get different results depending on the file such as
- - green garbage for video and distorted soundtrack
- play fine
- everything is completely distorted
