Arena 6 Beta 1 Some minor first try appreciations.

I've installed the beta on a macbookpro/el capitan some minutes ago, and want to share some things I've noticed.
Suck filter as fx clip.
If you put in the layer below a clip with alpha channel and jitterbug transition, the suckr filter affect all layers below except that particular clip (turning off alpha on clip, or changing transition make it work as usual).
In comp settings, if I set framerate to 25fps my comp fps never hits that number (same if I set it at 30fps).
But if I set 60fps they stay solid (on auto too, obviously). is that an expected behaviour? Setting up a low framerate some load to render pipeline?
Is there formal specs to work with h264?
I was using quicktime h264 on Arena 4 and 5 with great success, enconding all Iframes, no audio, and usual compressor tune up to make things go smooth. But same clips on Beta 6 stutters and become very choppy.
Something I've noticed is that switching from a DXV clip to a H264 put a 1 second black screen lag, and throw a random frame from h264 file before his start.
I mean, switch!, 1sec black, random frame, first frame from clip and go..
This is even worst if you switch between two h264 clips, and very noticeable triggering several times the same clip too.
Installed the beta on windows machine with low specs graphics, and h264 clips triggers steady and fast, even better than Arena 5 (because beta on win seems to be faster overall, have the opposite impression on osx).
I undestand this is something related to new core, and windows is still using quicktime to manage it, right?
I know now anyone can just throw an mp4 and will play, but I wonder if there somenthing to do with files to maintain that quicktime speed and behaviour.
Please take your time to release, this is a huge step and I love it. First time I feels that tools give me freedom to develop my own technique without nasty tricks. I just can´t believe this comes from that resolume we used to play some time ago.
