How to Remote Control Arena (Screen Mirroring + Lan)

Hey.

I'm trying to find a solution where I can have my screen from the PC which is running Resolume in another PC laptop screen so I can control it. MIDI and OSC are not an option because are not visual and I want to see the interface.

I was thinking it could be done by connecting both computers to the same network (the venue has no WiFi and no Ethernet. Can I create networks just with the computers I have) and then, sharing the screen from the PC that is running Resolume (via Teamviewer or Google Remote Desktop or any app that support screen sharing over the type of network that I'll be using) to the screen of the laptop that I want to take with me around the venue so I can VJ from different places.

Is it doable? Are you seeing a better solution to have the full interface of Resolume in another laptop screen? Or maybe a tablet (Teamviewer or Google Remote Desktop works on tablet too).
Any other tips?

Thanks in advance,
Geiras

I used TeamViewer successfully for these kind of situations,
VNC or Google's solution should also work.

I use Google Remote Desktop to remote control (troubleshoot) my servers from a different location. It works great when there's good bandwidth!

For work in the same building, I make my own KVM solution with the following equipment:
  • - Blackmagic HDMI to SDI mini converter (micro converter would work as well)
    - SDI cable to remote monitor
    - Blackmagic SDI to HDMOI micro converters (one for local and one for remote)
    - Gefen USB 2.0 Extender
    - Ethernet CAT6 cable
    - Corded Keyboard & Mouse (I don't use wireless in show environment)
    - USB 2-port hub (the USB extender only has two USB ports so that opens up one port for file transfer)
You could also buy a turn-key KVM solution such as the ADDERLink X200/CATx DisplayPort CAM.

Definitely Anydesk over Teamviewer. Considerably lighter application.
