Hi,

Avenue 6 (beta3 as well as the final release) crashes on opening a file dialog (like Open... a composition or setting the record directory or adding a new FFGL directory in the preferences).
And I can't send an error report because it also crashes when I hit the send button (tried that 10 times or more ...)

So far we haven't been able to recreate the issue, so any clues would be very helpful, along with your crash log.
When you get osx's error report notification, if you click on the notification, you get a dialog opened.
there on the bottom left you see a show details button.
Click it an you get a text display of the error report, which you can copy and paste into a new text file.
You can attach that text file zipped here to a post.

I'm getting the same thing on the Final for Arena 6. Chose Composition->Open. As it tries to display the dialog, CRASH. I think the crash report crashes too. OSX 10.10.5 on my end

what's your system setup, GPU?

macbook pro Retina 15 inch mid-2014 with OS X 10.10.5
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 Mo

10.10.5 seems to be a recurrent theme here

what's your user's Documents/Resolume folder's full path?

Macintosh HD/Users/myname/documents/ResolumeArena6

Is it what you need?

We suspect that this issue may have to do with characters in the path names so we'd need the exact path with the original characters.
