This is a pretty straightforward question, but I wasn't able to find the answer to this anywhere, so posting here – what's the shortcut key to focus into the search box on Mac? On PC, it's Ctrl+?, but Cmd+? doesn't seem to work on Mac. What's the real shortcut key?

It's cmd-/, or whatever key is under the ? mark on your keyboard layout.
Btw, you need to have the browser in focus in order for the shortcut to work.

There is also a global shortcut (Command+Shift+F) that will focus the Effect panel, bring it to front, and set's the focus on the search box.
