				Playing slowed down 120fps clips issue with fps

				Hello,
I've rendered some 120fps clips to have possibility to play them at slower speed while maintaining 60fps output.
But once I play the 120fps clip slowed down by 50% it looks like 30fps on the output. It looks the same as 60fps clip slowed down by 50%.
How can I make it work the way I intend?

				Re-rendering a 60fps file a 120fps is not creating new frames so all you end up with is two of each of the original frames. In other words all you get is a file that's twice the size with no mechanical advantage! 
What you need to do is create intermediary frames by using a program such as After Effect and the following techniques:
- Frame blending (Frame Mix or Pixel Motion)
 
- Time remapping or stretching
 
- Timewarp effect
 
- if you want to go all out, you can use Twixtor
 
Rather than increasing my fps, I personally prefer to increase the duration of my clips.

Ooops you are right, in my video I was 120fps but the animation had 60fps. I've missed some setting in TouchDesigner. Now I have a real 120fps animation and it works fine with 50% slowdown.

That's an interesting idea, it easier to work with 60bmp-60fps as the base frequency, most screens can display that. The downside is that you always see movie previews in a slow tempo that is almost never played live.
