recover composition?

ran into a problem today where resolume wouldn't load. at all, it would flash then close.

read the FAQ, moved the config.xml and then it opened! yay! however it was back to the Example composition.

tried opening the last two recent compositions and it crashes immediately.

luckily this comp was fairly simple so I've remade it from scratch, very happily the advanced output preset is still working.

however, if the comp had been super complex we'd be quite screwed - wondering, is there a way to 'recover' or 'repair' comps? no idea how it happened.. maybe improper shut down when tearing out last gig it was on.

Compositions are xml.
If a composition was damaged somehow you might be able to recover part of it by closing the open xml tags.

If it's empty, then there is not much that can be done.

If such a damage has happened it would be good to find out more details if the circumstances,
to tell if it's an issue with Resolume, or an issue with the OS or hardware.

If you could send us the Resolume log file via preferences, and the damaged composition file, that would be great!

OK will do, once the rig is back from the gig in a couple days :)
