Hello.
I owned an
i7 8700k
asus rog z370-g
gtx 1080
BM deckling duo 2
16 ram 3000mhz
Resolume arena 6.1
and i wonder.
HOW CAN I REDUCE THE SDI TO SCREEN LATENCY TIME?
Add more RAM will help?
Any other ideas?
Thanks, Daniel.

You should expect 2-3 frames at 59.94 so what’s your current latency?
Also what kind of camera/device are you capturing with the Duo 2?

Hi, in an attempt to resurrect this post, I also have a latency issue.
Core i9
Datapath vision sc sdi-4 capture card.
32 gb ram
Estimated 250ms delay.
Any ideas?

What is your computer plugged into?
I have the same card and it’s 2-3 frames.

I have four outputs, 3 hdmi and 1 display port.
Display port is used for my preview monitor which shows minimal latency in the preview window, and a hdmi direct to an LG television for testing.
We normally use this to run an LED screen with a video camera plugged into the vision sc-sdi4 capture card.
However, latency is so bad we can't use the camera.

Hi Oaktown, Hi Drazkers
Such a low latency is incredible.
The camera has a delay also the computer and also the projector or a led wall.
With which equipment do you achieve such values?
I reach 140ms latency from the camera to the image of the projector
with a BM input card, not bad, but if it's faster, bring it on.
