Noticed these while clicking things:

In the Text Animator Effect and Source, under the Animate section, the rotation parameter displays in radians when set to Dashboard, Clip Position, or any of the FFT options.

If any parameter is set to Clip FFT, the dot indicator showing it is selected disappears while set to Clip FFT.

That's probably because the Text animator clip doesn't have an audio track to FFT to.

Ah I see. Yes you are correct.
I think out of Composition, External and Clip FFT, Clip FFT must be the only one that can check to NOT display the indicator? (or just doesnt finish displaying the indicator if there is no audio)

I've made a ticket so we're more clear about the Clip fft source not existing.
Composition always has audio, and External too technically, even if you don't have incoming audio exactly.
