So I am picking up a Kinect v2 to play around with in the next day or two. What is everyone using for software? Tips? Suggestions?
Thanks!

well , you also need to get your hands on a kinect v2 to windows adapter to be able to connect it to your (windows10) pc . They stopped making these last year or so .
Or if you aren't afraid of soldering there are hack tutorials on youtube.
Also you need to use it with usb3 port & cables.
Touchdesigner is a good start for kinect , it has build in nodes to access all the data streams , from there you can start thinkering to basically anything

I picked up the v2 sensor. Not going to dump stupid money on the windows adapter so ill be modding the sensor with the power port.
So far i understand I need the SDK and touchdesigner and I should be good to go correct?
