Changing composite modes with midi in Arena6

I am working with Arena 6 and having difficulty changing my workflow from Arena 5.
It used to be easy to swap between two chosen comppsite modes for any layer with the click of a single midi button. Now in Arena 6 I have no control of this, I have a midi value assigned to the composite layer button, but because I have no selections to set in Arena 6 (iin Arena 5 it used to be 3 selections) The midi action now defaults to the final composite mode in the list 'to White'.
Is there any way around this? I just want to swap between ADD and DARKEN with a click of a button. Thanks!

You can create duplicate midi shortcuts to different specific blend modes to get the same behavior as in R5:

Thanks Zoltan,
So does each composite mode have its own numeric value that can be targeted by a midi shortcut?
Does it take a bit of guesswork to find the midi value specific to each composite mode?

If you map notes then you'll be able to chose the exact blend you'd like for the shortcut in the Mode selector.
