i have this PTZ camera

in arena 7.2.0 i can control the focus slider and the autofocus button

i can´t control pan, tilt and zoom

with the new tek video monitor app everything works fine.

the NDI HX driver is installed

Resolume controls pan and tilt in Absolute mode. Does the camera support that?

I too can’t control Pan/Tilt or Zoom on a PTZOptics PT-30X-NDI camera.

If I have the “PTZ Enabled” box ticked, whenever I select this camera/NDI source to output the Pan/Tilt/Zoom resets to its home position (Center forward wide).

I can’t see anything in the camera settings about “absolute mode” or anything that changes the ptz settings.

I've been using those ptz optics cameras for about 3 years without any issues. Did this just start or have you never been able to use them?

I only just tried it.

But.... I did recently update the camera’s firmware in order to solve a different problem.... so maybe this firmware broke the PTZ control from Resolume?

Unlikely, I can test this on Wednesday when I'm near my PTZ's again.

Sienna NDI monitor can switch between Absolute and relative PTZ controls. If it can't control the camera in Absolute mode either, the issue will be on the camera.

Yeah, absolute control in sienna video monitor doesn’t control these cameras.

I’ve asked the question to PTZOptics about this, but is “relative control” something that could be added to Resolume?

Relative control is great when you have an operator who only does that.
But with pre-set clips, if you need to play the camera clips for any reason out of order, or someone knocks the camera, your shots will be out of position.

I have an NDI camera, I can't control PTZ with 7.3.2 software, I can control focus, camera website https://www.tchdvideo.com/sxj-242.html . I can control PTZ in web and NDI monitor. Is this a software problem or a camera problem
