Help: DMA Kernel Protection with TB3 TB4 Devices

Hey folks,
does anyone have experience with the problem that external Thunderbold devices like Thunderbold 3/4 Docks or TB3 to Dual DP Adapters won't work correctly?
I've brought a new Razor Blade 17 with two TB4 Ports. But it seems that only "normal" stuff like USB-C to HDMI Adapters, or External SSDs are working as intended.
The problematic Thunderbold devices are showing up in the Thunderbold Controllcenter of Windows when I plug them in.... but not in the Device-Manager. They are simply not working.
I've read about the idea that the DMA Kernel protection is making stuff problematic.
There is no
obvious Option in the BIOS or so to do something against it....if this really is the problem.
Any ideas?
Best wishes

TB is a tricky sumb***h. There are very strict standards it needs to conform to. I've had more adapter NOT work than do work. The Razer TB dock is solid. I've also had good luck with Anker. Startech USB-C is fantastic but their TB works on some of my machine and won't work on others. I try to avoid TB when possible just because of this headache. TBH it's going to be a lot of trial and error for you. Amazon is a great tool for me with their return policy. I'll order 6-10 devices at a time and return the one's that don't work.

My dell laptop has an option about Thunderbolt security in the Bios.
I had to change that to No security to have devices show up.
Also windows might have trouble with hot plugging thunderbolt devices.

Hi Zoltan,
thanks for your answer. I've already checked the BIOS for anything "security" related. Sadly no luck.
I've also tried the points mentioned here
https://ugetfix.com/ask/how-to-fix-the- ... icy-error/ also no luck.

Little update:
After Arvol mentioned to try other stuff...I today got my hands on an Anker Dock
Anker TB4 Dock
Still the same. No output nor system recognize of the dock.
I've also got full YOLO and brought an Amazon Basic TB dual HDMI Dongle
Amazon basic Dongle
And what shall I say? ....It works perfectly fine. No hickups for hours now. Smooth playout. And cheaper than all the other dongles.
Best wishes

I've found that
https://www.accellww.com/ works for most of the people I've suggested. Although they don't make a dual output adapter like the one above, only MST hub
