Apple M1 Max HDMI issues

I used my new m1 over this weekend (same spec 1tb version) I had two outputs running, it ran nice during the show although I had an issue with the local HDMI output.
When I unplugged the charger and re-plugged the led video wall started to go fuzzy like some sort of white noise, but then I plugged a usb c hdmi adaptor and plugged the same hdmi in to that and tested the charger and it didn't glitch at once.
I tried:
Changing hdmi cables
Different power source
Went from MagSafe to usb C from the charger
Restart the laptop
It would be good to hear if anyone else has had the same issue?
I know its not a Resolume issue but a Mac one but my previous machines have not given me this problem so if anyone has had any experience with this please do share
