Persistent color sampling

Post by jeffkrigstein »

Hi all,

I've got my input composition set to have some footage on one side driving a primary screen and some other graphics on the other side driving some DMX lights.

I have a bunch of different footage that I am playing on the primary screen and I'd like to automatically match the color of the DMX lighting graphics to whatever is playing on the primary screen, rather than needing to color match in in advance or create lots of columns with color variations.

Rather than just mapping the DMX fixtures straight over the same footage, I want to be able to retain the specific animation patterns I have, but just update the color that they show to match the primary footage.

Is there any kind of persistent color sampler in Resolume that could then drive the color of a colorize effect?

Thanks for any advice!
