Iroscsa 64bit & Resolume 7 not working

Post by Indigo »

Irosc is now in 64bit version but I cant get it working in Resolume 7. No matter where I put the files, I cant find the plugin in effects. Has anyone tried and managed to get it working?

It was a really nice plugin, since it was the only way to control clip speed with audio reactivity.

Shameless Plug (Beat Doctor should be able to do all of this and more): https://pixelparty.gumroad.com/l/beat_d ... ixel_party

I tried to recreate this plugin in Wire. Unfortunately Resolume can not do an internal OSC Loopback. Please give "Global Shortcuts" a +1 in the request section to help alleviate the need for middleware.....
So for now, you can use this FX I built but you will also need a loopback, and to achieve this I'm using the app Chataigne. Be sure to set your Resolume OSC In port to 7000 and Out port to 7001 (default) and then add in new OSC In Address "Values" that match the OSC addresses you setup in the FX. Add the FX to the composition level and then you should be good to go. Click the cog wheel next to "Audio" and set it to "External FFT" to use the audio drive option. (Or for advanced playback options, set it to timeline and then play with envelopes.)
If I can get Chataigne to accept OSC In Wildcards, I'll update this thread and that would eliminate you needing to enter in a new OSC Address in Chataigne anytime you add a new FX, but for now, it's the old manual method haha.
