Thanks so much both of you, it works great! I put in the Smooth node as cosmwoe suggested and it works well. Now I'm working on creating a branching effect so the lines appear to be growing like a plant or other organic, evolving structure.

Do you have a suggestion for how I could create that branching effect? Basically so the line could multiply with another controller?

branching off would require some creative feedback like how these pluggins opperate:

You could instance the patch and that would give you multiple lines but they won't branch.

Would I be able to use the Feedback Systems plugin from the site you shared for that or are you saying something would need to be built?
