v 7.17.1 hangs on new windows installation

I just picked up a new machine and went to install 7.17.1 on it. When it launches, clips do not show and the composition settings and source cannot be accessed. I uninstalled and went to 7.16 and all functions as expected.
Windows 11
Alienware M16
RTX4070
Just wanted to throw out there since I may not be the only one with the issue.

Thanks for letting us know!
Try selecting an audio device in preferences, that will unfreeze Resolume.
We'll look into it.
First install of Avenue doesn't work on Mac M1 Ventura?

Hey. Want to learn Avenue to build out my workflow from Touch Designer. Downloaded latest Arena yesterday (Version 7.17.1 rev 27161) trying to open it on Macbook Pro M1 Max Ventura 13.4.1. Avenue opens but the demo clips don't load and I cannot load any of my own clips into it fro either internal file browser or dragged from mac's finder. Only thing I can get to work is the tap to tempo... It doesn't quit either without forcing.
What am I missing?
