I have my first VJ gig on Friday night and I havent even installed Resolume yet. I have some material but not enough!!!!

I need to get the head down ASAP!!!

Is it easy to pick up?

yep

you should have the basics understood within a few hours. You can pick it up and make some pretty impressive visuals really quickly, but theres scope to do a LOT more, ideal really! Of course a lot depends on your footage...

right. resolume is no image synth. its more a sampler so you need lots of footage. i always have the feeling that i don't have enough footage but i think most of resolume users know what i mean...
...but resolume has good effects on board so you can actually do a good show with only one deck of footage and all those resolume generators. but it's boring to do that more than once - more footage is needed and time and more time ... and...
