BPM by Deck

Hi,
i'm working on a live show for a music band.
In my composition, I'm using one desk per track.
Each track is using a different tempo (bpm) for a one hour concert with 9 different tracks. plus it's electro music and the tracks start directly (no real outro/intro which gives me time to enter the bpm manually) I've already done 3 concerts and it's really problematic.

After research I understood that this was not possible in Avenue, is this possible in Arena with the group system or is the group system only for layers?

Or is there an automatic BPM detection mode from my sound card (focusrite Scarlett solo) that I can set and that I could apply by default?

Thank you in advance to anyone who will take the time to read and help me!

Hi, there are of course, different ways of doing this. Here are some things that you could try.

- you could sync resolume to a midiclock from the band if they use something like Abelton Live of some other sequencer.
- You can also use a third-party beat detector, check out Pulse from hybrid visuals. or look true Juicebar.... but there are way more of them...
- Or you could to run your own third-party midi sequencer next to resolume and sync resolume to that one. and set a beat for every song there and connect does to a midi controller.
- or you could use a third-party OSC app like TouchOSC. And make custom buttons for the different bpms. sent that to resolume on this adress /composition/tempocontroller/tempo
- or you could use something like a Stream Deck, or Loupedesk. And make some buttons there that will sent the BPM through osc.
- or you could use https://bitfocus.io/companion. It made to work with the devices from the points before but it also has a virtual on screen version so you don't need any hardware device. and its free ;)

And If you have a Mac, contact me directly, cause I build my own solution ;)

I hope one of these options will work for you. Let me know if I can help you more.
