One frame delay of BPM Sync random playback compared to BPM Sync effects

				Good day guys,
I have a problem with the combination of random playback of the clip on BPM sync and effects that also run on BPM sync. The position of the timeline is always shifted one frame earlier before the effect is applied resulting in an unclean picture between the transition. I work with step envelopes for the effects. Please find attached a screenshot of my clip settings.
Best regards
Tobias

try adding a keyframe with a very short slope here:

The keyframe you have there is already on the next beatmark, you can also try to move it a bit before the 5/4 mark

				Good day Zoltan,
thanks for your reply on my issue. Unfortunately the slope with another key does not fix the problem but worsens the effect. I still have this one frame where both effects (random playback + transform) are not in sync even after resyncing. Do you have any other suggestions for a solution? I have already tested all types of curves and different distances between the keys at the 50 % mark and always get a similarly poor result.
Best regards
Tobias

				I've seen this issue too.
If you use random playback on the clip (BPM sync), it does not sync up with effects that are also set to BPM sync.
My approach is to set all effects to 'start settings' –> 'clip trigger'. It's not perfect, but it's better than the out-of-sync "BPM sync". (Very frustrating that something that is labeled as "sync" is not actually synced!)
However, this means that if you have several clips playing at the same time, they will be out of sync with each other (because the effects will be based on when you triggered the clip, not the 'global' beat). What I do in that case is that I frequently hit 'resync' (forward slash), which aligns all the clips, but it causes everything to shift noticeably when you do it.

What's the composition frame rate and clip frame rate you're using?
