hi there
i m very new in VJ staff so i need help in buying laptop...
what is the best configuration of the laptop so resolume and the react midi will work fluently...or maybe i need a regular comp so it will be much stronger ?
if anyone knows the models ov videocards or laptops or any hardware that are the best for VJing pls share the info...

it has been discussed a lot before...
so u can check the archives.
basicly it deppends on the money issues.
u can have $5k alienware which runs everything smoothly
is it necessery?

Hi,
well i bought recently a new laptop model Compal HEL-80 with the following specifications:
Core 2 duo T7200
1 Gb Ram DDRII 667 Mhz
Nvidia Go 7600 with 256 MB
15,4" Monitor 1280x800
120 GB Hard Drive 5400 rpm (at the time they didn't had any hard drive at 7200 rpm)
Windows XP Home
Total cost: 1180€
It works fine, only the hard drive could be faster, but you can use a fast external hard drive by firewire or usb
