Resolume Forum

Hi,

I'm making use of Resolumes neat record tool to record a mix

however I'm limited to how long I'm able to record. There is no problem

with hard drive space or resolume but It seems if i record a mix over

say 4 minuets ( 2.5Gb) the file does not open in Quicktime an (Error -50) comes

up, But i am able to open shorter time mixes or smaller files.

Any ideas?

Hi aroestenburg,
There is a problem with files over 2 gb, resolume doesn't support files greater then this size. This is a VFW issue, this can be fixed, but at the moment there is no workaround for this in Resolume.
So you wil have to record shorter clips i'm afraid. We allways thought the recording feature would be used more as a sampler instead of using it to record a mix.

I think VirtualDub is able to open bigger files.. is the framerate (speed of the recorded file) problem fixed in 2.4 ?
