Hi Neil.
You can hook up as many devices as you want to your computer. Or you can daisy chain your devices using their midi ports.

M-audio trigger finger and also there is a korg one. dont recall the the name but google it! good luck man and i know what you mean about dancing! i get carried away!

The Akai mpd24 is actually cheaper than the trigger finger in some stores. I hanen't tried it, but it looks alot better then m-audio plastic toy...
