Is there a max file size per composition?

I have a composition I'm using for displaying video behind a band at a live performance. I have a composition that contains 17 HD videos that are each 500MB - 1GB (most are 500MB). That composition is performing well. It was requested I add 1 larger video that is 14 minute video ~3GB. When I added this one, it wouldn't play - I had to exit without saving. Tried a couple of times. Is there a max files size per composition that I need to be on the look for? or is there a max file size per clip? I'm wondering at what point would it start inhibiting performance (delayed video start etc). This video syncs to the music the band is playing (they are on a click), so its important not to have latency when I launch a column in my composition(s).

Hi,
no there is no file-size limitation. I am pretty sure you don't use the recommended DXV codec. Convert your clips with Alley to DXV. Alley comes with the installation of Resolume.

Then try again. Don't be shocked, your 3gb 15min. video will come out around 25gb based on the resolution.
You will also notice that when you use DXV there will be no delay when starting a clip as long as you leave it in timeline mode.

Best wishes
