Does switching apps cause Resolume instablity?

As part of my set I often create new Flash anims on the fly and then add them straight into one of the decks.

Does switching to another app and then back to Resolume introduce any instabilities in Resolume? Sometimes the video does not play as expected when flipping back to R2.41.

Is there a way to switch between apps to minimize disruption to Resolume's operation?

Thanks
Richard

My experience is that most programs that hook into your video card are inherently unstable when you flip around, no matter if they are $50 programs to the pro stuff and Resolume is no exception. It's pretty touchy, I try not to minimize if I can help it or I just exit out altogether.

yes i have found this problem with resolume. when i minamiz res it ither wont come back or the interface dont change altho the out put is changeing (using midi controler).

If you need to access your desktop while using resolume, use the windows key to gain access to your start menu and any other apps you have open.

this works without crashing resolume,

ok so over the weekend i found out that the problem is caused with the microsoft keyboard and mouse drivers, seems that after a fresh install i could minamize resolume and restore with no problems, but after i installed the MS drivers major problems with minamizing resolume.
Uninstall MS drivers and resolume Working fine again........

duno why this is, but i dont need my MS Keyboard and mouse drivers so i am not guna install them again.

I have no problems with switching between resolume and flash on a Vista laptop. only a the moment of switching the output freezes for a split second.
And of course keep in mind your memory and cpu usage.
the framerate of resolume will drop when a other intensive aplication is running. So turn the effects off, use only one layer and close the program when finished.

Yeah thanks ... I've discovered the Win key technique (and also Alt+Tab) which seems to avoid any significant issues.
