its not in the new version, which is a big shame, i hope it does make it back in because is still realy miss it. timeswitcher with multiple layers working on different beat values would be an outstanding way of making "riffs" with videos.

to extend this feature:
it woult also be nice if this would work on timelines and parameters
next nice thing would be cue-points in parameters and switching the cuepoints per beat, timeline, random etc..

It should be easy to build a timeswitcher in Max, controlling Resolume via OSC. Watch this space.

Hi!
Just found a TimeSwitcher plugin - maybe that's what you are looking for!

its almost what i need....but not quite..... would be good if the switching could be synched to a certain amount of beats imstead of having to guess by eye. would make the whole thing a lot tighter.
*edited to add*
im wondering if "timeswitcher" is the right name for what i need actualy.... it was the min value / max value option that could be assigned via the bpm sync in res 2.41

yep yep, this is different from the TimeSwitcher in 2.41... I made the plugin that was posted, and it just works like in R2.41, but now that you mention the Min/Max option, it occurs to me that it would be really easy to make a Min/Max mixer plugin that would allow you to set BPM Sync mode to Bounce and would then work like in Resolume 2. Maybe I'll take a look one day... It's still a hack, though, and I wish there would be a Min/Max mode for
all beatsyncable parameters again!

min max is the top thing on my avenue wishlist ( and has been since i first saw the beta of avenue in use well over a year ago! ) in the ideal world it will be possible to set it to divisions of beats as well as whole ones ie - 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1,2,3,4, ect. it would seriously enhance avenue as a visual and audiovisual tool imo
