Problems with Akai APC40 and Codanova VMX2

Hi,

since some month i use the Akai APC40 andit really works fine! Yesterday i got my Codanova VMX2... and like any other man i want to play with my new toy

i use the apc40 for starting/stop the clips, fading, aso. My plan for the vmx2 is controlling the clip (forward, backward, pause, speed, scroll, effects, size aso.) My Problem is, the vmx sends for some buttons the same notes than the apc40... i tried to link it via bome´s midi translator (i use for midifeedback) but than i got feedback from my vmx on my apc.
Other thing i tried, change from the notes-mode to the controlmode on my vmx, but than resolume doesn´t work that way i want (forward and backward doesn´t work correctly, cue points aso.)

any idea whats the best way to usw both tools?
thx!

Most midi controllers will allow you to edit which signals they are sending, or at least on which channel they send it. But unfortunately it looks like both the APC40 and the VMX2 do not allow you to do this. So if both devices are sending the same signal, there is no easy way to separate them. Your best bet would be to contact the support team for the device itself.

yes, APC40 and VMX2 don´t have software to edit anything :(
At the VMX there are only some DIP´s to change from "send notes" to "send controls" but, if i change to send controls resolume don´t do what i wait for! With the note-mode its perfect... with control-mode not.

i have to find a solution, both controllers are really good for resolume. Maybe i find a way together with Bome or anybody here have some useful tips and tricks ;)
