Is it possible to run them off the same computer?

My current hardware is:

MBP 15.4
With the following configuration:
Processor 065-8069 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 065-8072 4GB 1066Mz DDR3 SDRM-2x2GB
Hard Drive 065-8077 320GB Serial ATA @ 7200
Optical Drive 065-8081 SuperDrive 8X DL
DVI Adapter 065-8291 Mini DisplayPort - DVI Adapter
VGA Adapter 065-8257 Mini DisplayPort - VGA Adapter

I know I can upgrade laptop. My sets in ableton generally run about 50-70% cpu at most intense and I was hoping to do synced video visuals/small video clips in time to the music. Most of what I do is improvised pscychedelic dance music and funk/rock. I've messed with demo a bit but before I commit I'd like to know if I should buy another computer or just upgrade mine.

yeah you can run them off the same laptop - but im not sure about yours. have you checked the online manual? Its really good and takes you through it. have a quick look and see what you think
