Hi Vj,s
I have a big problem with my V2 Beta, because i cant get the output to the beamer.
My video card is an Nvidia Geforce4 Mx440 and i havent problems with V1.5
On screen setup only appears my pc but not my beamer, only a square with Dvd Max disbled.
I go to my nview and when i extended horizontaly my desktop the V2 interface its just in the middle of the monitors(pc,beamer)but i cant get de output to the beam or tv.On V1.5 the interface are only in my monitor, and de preview its on the beamer.I use the RCA output of my video card.
I dont know whats de problem if on V1.5 works fine.
Sorry for my english,I hope you understand me.
Thanks a lot

Hiya,
I am having a problem with getting v.1.5 to work in dual monitor mode. My primary display is 1650x1050, secondary will only drop to 800x600.
Thus the main window on primary display is not centred.
I have tried changing configuration settings within resolume and monitor res., but to no avail.
Also, when l click on dual monitor mode, .l lose playback on primary monitor interface. I then have to manually position 2nd window on 2nd monitor & manually resize to full screen when in position.
This is very frustrating and any advice would be appreciated.
I am running XP Pro & vid. card is an NVIDIA GeForce 4200 Go (delll mobile).

I am having the same problem. Basically it looks like that resolume is not detecting the dual monitors. 1.5 had no problems, but 2.0 beta does.
I'm running an older Matrox Millennium g400 in spanned desktop mode (ie: 1 really large desktop spead over two monitors, as opposed to two monitors running independent resolutions)
Oh and I'm on win2000 sp4.

resolume 2.0 does not support the extended desktop anymore ... we did suport it in v1.x because some people were still using windows 2000 ... we did not know an extended desktop was possible in winXP.

not necessarily on the GeForce 4200 .. if you update the drivers to the latest version you should be able to select "dualview" in the display settings. This gives you real dual monitor.
i got this from Tom @ vjforums:
http://www.vjforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=8559
go into the display settings / nview settings and select
this gives you 2 seperate displays.

I just tried it on my other computer also running 2000 but with a nVidia GeForce fx 5200. It had the same problem (as it was set to extended desktop), but works fine in dualview.
are there any plans to support extended desktops. Personally I prefer this setup when working (I use virtual desktops when programming and doing image and video processing). While I don't mind switching to dualview. to use resolume 2.0, I have to say it is a hassle as it requires a reboot.
