What are the best settings to use when starting a new sequence in Premiere (in my case 4) and when exporting what are the best settings (and codec) to use?

Thanks

the question is: wich codec is your source material + what would you do with the export?

for resolume the DXV codec is your choice to export.

ok, in this instance my source material are videos i downloaded, both avis that i converted to mpeg 2 format for editing in premiere. I would like to know THE BEST Sequence preset settings to work with them for later export use in Resolume.

I knew DXV was the best answer for exporting, that was just sort of an addendum to my real question. Installing DXV has been a problem for me though and I can't get it to show up as an option for exporting the movie in Premiere.

Sorry to ask a jumbled question but thanks for the help. Please let me know/help me get sorted out...
