I've been having a wierd issue where I put an effect on a layer, then put the opacity of that effect on the dashboard so I can control opacity with my midi controller. Then if I change the preset of that effect to something else the opacity reverses. So if i turn the knob on my midi controller up the opacity goes down and vice versa. Lemme know if my description makes sense.

Any particular effect, preset and midi controller? Or just all of them?

i know what r u talking about, just before you drag the fx to the dashboard make sure that the opacity is all down.

Well the two fx i use most both do it colorize and flip. I havent tried any others.

or you can drag it again if does not work, i tried last night and works that way, so if you drag the first time and is reversed just drag it again, you just play with it and you will figured out.

Yea we've been noobing it up over here, this is so obvious now. It's like a freeze transform 0 should be the bottom of the controller. Dashboard issues have been driving us crazy. It had seemed that it was resetting itself between switching decks. I'm trying this...


NOoooo0oo it didn't work. Why is the speed of the tunnel effect defaulting in dashboard to being super fast. I never set it to super fast.

I have the same problem with my Codanova vmx v64... What midi controller are you using?
