Low-res IMAG and camera latency

Hi folks,
I swear this isn't another rehash of the same old camera-input thread - search function here, VJforums and google have yielded nothing.
I'm looking to use two lipstick cameras for low-res IMAG shots, for use on a 576x144 LED wall that I'd really like to drive with Arena if possible (rather than a Hippo/Catalyst). Resolution on the cameras can be very low (320x240 would be ample), so bandwidth isn't the big issue, but as we're looking for the camera feeds to display live on stage behind the performer as IMAG, including both feeds at once, the latency has to be virtually nil.
I've seen a hundred different answers on a dozen different capture devices, would definitely appreciate anyone who can help cut through the clutter on this one.
Thanks!
