Alley Codec
Could we add a mp4 codec to Alley for conversion? There's times I want to send a file or two for previewing via the web and rather than sending a large DXV file, a small MP4 would be great. Would be nice not to have AME on every machine to do a small conversion to package and send. Thanks

Re: Virtual Stage - Independent Outputs!!
My exposure tokens are already full up but i'll give my 2 cents anyways ;)
Do EVERYTHING inside Resolume.
Create your stage/slices in Advanced Output.
Create lots of slices and looks, they can be on their own virtual screen.
Use those dummy slices along with slice transform on each layer to get ...

Re: Can you get live BPM from computer and sync it to Resolume?
I was assuming he was wanting some sort of custom Winamp style setup ,where he can load some clips and then let the music automate various parameters of the clips to music on spotify??
I wouldn't think streaming audio to DJ a set is a thing, unless you're at home with a good connection? (Even then ...

Re: help masking an area out of chroma key
@Zoltan, I would think just applying a keystone mask (With a missing feature IMO, "Invert") then a ChromaKey would do the job, but I was unable to get this working without a bit of confusion.
Would you have any suggestions that would work better than my extremely complex solution? lol Thanks ...

Re: Can you get live BPM from computer and sync it to Resolume?
There's a few out there. None of them are perfect but they get you close with enough tweaking. The thing you will need to work on is normalizing the audio between clips. If clip (A) has a volume of 0db and clip (B) has a volume of -6db, your app isn't going to perform the same. Amplitude and ...

Re: Can no longer open Arena!
You'll need to configure your Nvidia control panel 3d application settings to use the Nvidia GPU for rendering, right now it's set to the Intel GPU.
If that doesn't work, give this a shot:

Re: Resolume media server with 9hd outputs
Adding any mst hub like matrox or datapath is not a option . ;)
Datapath isn't a typical MST hub, it has internal processing and sync boards unlike the cheap usb MST hubs that have given MST hubs a bad rep ;)
If he doesn't want to go that route, he can get 3 RTX 5000 cards and a nvidia sync ...

Re: Resolume media server with 9hd outputs
I would go a 1080p per projector route using a single GPU with 2 Datapath FX4-SDI (If you projectors have built in 3G-SDI inputs, otherwise a regular FX4 will work).
If it's a Nvidia GPU (Which I recommend) the 1st output will be your UI, the second and third outputs will go to the FX4 (4k in and (4 ...

Yup, Correct :)
I really wish LX would move away from a 43 year old protocol though lol. Ethernet with a DHCP mode would be amazing. Just plug and play, let the desk do the assigning (Similar to how LED receiving cards can assign once configured). But this is another topic for another time and ...

Re: Can you repath everything to Dropbox?
Don't put anything Resolume related on a cloud drive, EVER!
You're asking for trouble.
If you want to share stuff between 2 or more computers, make a cloud drive with all of your files you wish to share, just don't associate Resolume with those drives. Do a copy/paste from those drives to a ...
