Hi,
I've experienced exactly the same problems:
Avenue 6 crashes on opening a file dialog (like Open..., setting the record directory or adding a new FFGL directory in the preferences).
And I can't send an error report because it also crashes when I hit the send button (tried that 10 times or more ...)
MacBook Pro 15' 2014, MacOS 10.10.5
