Additionaly it would be good to be able to send timecode via OSC - without having to change all clips from e.g. SMPTE to something else and back afterwards.
This would help massively to be able to develop/bugfix a setup.

New Update (7.22) - where is the playback indicator?
Hi
When "Show Layer Transport Controls" was deactivated in the View menu, then clip playback was shown as a slim progress bar below the layer thumb. Very helpful!
Since 7.22 update this indicator seems to be gone? Or did I miss some new options?

Exactly, that's the workaround I described in the thread opening.
I'm only posting here, because (a) if someone else runs into the same issue and doesn't know what happening. And (b) it would be great if the issue could be addressed by having Resolume remain responsive, maybe even with some ...

Re: Bug (win10): Resolume freezes when using OneDrive and media is only in cloud
And sorry, I'm not gonna discuss the merits of project management via cloud. It works for me and made my touring life much easier. It might not do the same for everyone, but I can only recommend trying it out.

Re: Bug (win10): Resolume freezes when using OneDrive and media is only in cloud
Is this so misunderstandable? Jesus.
I don't expect the files to be played instantly! I don't want to play them at all! Took them off the local drive for a reason. I just want to open another composition, but can't.
See my example above: I take the media of project A off my local drive, brought ...

Re: Bug (win10): Resolume freezes when using OneDrive and media is only in cloud
Nobody talks about streaming here. As said, project management.
Let me give you an example:
Played some shows with touring project A, next days touring project B coming up. So, A's files go off the local drive, B downloads from cloud to local. But alas! Resolume auto-starts to composition A! And ...

Re: Bug (win10): Resolume freezes when using OneDrive and media is only in cloud
files are in dxv ofc. in cloud for project management, can't have everything locally.
and no, they will not stream in low quality, they will simply block Resolume. which is what the bug report is about.

Bug (win10): Resolume freezes when using OneDrive and media is only in cloud
Heya,
not even sure this is a bug, strictly speaking. It is a reproducible problem though and it has the power properly ruin your day.
Windows only, when using OneDrive (Microsoft's cloud service):
When my composition uses files, which are in the cloud and not locally available, then Resolume ...

Re: OSC in/out stopped working
Okay, solved. Two problems in parallel:
I somehow forgot, ports mean 1-to-1 communication (only in the world of Artnet sometimes softwares make exceptions). If Protokol is running in parallel to Resolume -both listening to the same port-, one will receive my OSC messages, the other won't receive ...
