Re: Ultimate PC Server Build- SDI Inputs- 4k Frame Sync

Generally speaking: If all outputs are on a single card your frames will be in sync. Arena works best with a single super-powerful card. This isn’t true, gaming cards sometimes are off by a frame randomly. You’ll notice with blends and cuts. It happens rarely but does pop up. It’s why quadros allow...

Re: 12 outs: Blackmagic Decklink Quad 2 + GTX 1080 TI

The outputs across the Decklink will not be synced. I have not used one myself, so I cannot speak to tearing. If you are blending multiple projectors, you may notice the offset, but if these are 12 discrete outputs (or have different content across those outputs) you should be OK with the BMD card ...

Re: 12 outs: Blackmagic Decklink Quad 2 + GTX 1080 TI

Hi there, Nice topic here, so I would like to ask someone with experience using BMD Decklink Quad 2. When control monitor is connectect to primary card, and all displaying devices (beamers, LED wall inputs, etc..) are connected to BMD Q2, are these outputs synced (without visibe tearing) or not? (I ...

Re: Sync issues on long files

Hi, Only way to get more videos synced is to merge them to one big clip in premiere, export it like a one file (like 5760x1080) , import it to Reso, do 3 screens in advanced output and set them to different physical outputs.. No matter how powerfull your hardware is, there will be resync after few m...

Re: Resyncing videos

Ok, thank you for answer.

It makes sense.

So the right way will be to render one huge movie and slice it on output.. No problema..

Re: Resyncing videos

Hi Oaktown, I didn´t want to be blunt, or something like that.. I´m just pointing on some trouble.. Well, about the system.. Xeon E5-1650v3 64 GB RAM GTX 1070 SM961 512GB for system and 850pro for storing data.. All input cards are out of the rig to avoid problems about PCI-E bus (to have max bandwi...

Re: Resyncing videos

It´s quite easy.. Because I´m not a creator (or author) of that animation and videos.. Get three videos to display them.. There were no time and conditions to get the original (huge) animation.. Than I am not quite following you. Resolume Arena is a media server, right? It is sold like a media serve...

Re: Resyncing videos

So, everything rendered in 30fps progressive.. Quicktime, DXV3 codec.. Without audio. Timeline pitch 1.0.. No beatsnap.. It´s one animation splitted and exported to 3 1920x1080 videos, that are in 3 layers and sent to 3 outputs. Outputs connected directly to the processor.. Resolume fps is still abo...
