Video Stuttering in Resolume

Just got this problem. I have videofile (clip with sound). Everything is smooth in quicktime/mediaplayer/grandvj. But stutters in resolume. Small but stable and visible effect. No matter what framerate is reported by counter it looks like 12-15 fps. Tested dxv, h264, photojpeg, different resolutions...

Re: Deinterlace method in Resolume.

I'll put deinterlace on the list, we actually had more options for this in version 2. Great! Because its already a big limitation when working with small pitch LEDs. Just got MacBook Retina and tested with intensity for thunderbolt and ultrastudio express (also thunderbolt). Measured around 3 frame...

Re: jpgs locking up arena 4.1.2

And what is the upper limit of RAM Resolume can use?
Resolume under Windows is 32-bit, so 2GB maximum? Same situation with Mac?

Re: jpgs locking up arena 4.1.2

Yes, we are amazed by Resolume features and then we face limitations. It's normal. Now we know that jpeg-s are loaded to ram and that there are limits. Is it system RAM or VideoRAM? p.s. And I prefered H264 for video because it supports "keyframe every frame" and for same quality has signi...

Re: jpgs locking up arena 4.1.2

We would like figure out what happens, whether the file loading fails or that CPU or GPU memory runs out. Can you tell us the resolution of your images and how many you had loaded at once in a deck? Pictures are loaded in RAM when load them in a clip, it adds up quickly when you use hi-res images. ...

Re: Deinterlace method in Resolume.

So there is no third party softaware or codec. Just me, Resolume and live input from another laptop with test signal. There IS a codec. You are using harwdare compression, in other way you can´t have an interlaced signal. Try with progressive hardware. Capture, interlace and then deinterlace have n...

Re: Deinterlace method in Resolume.

Check your capture settings. I use Blackmagic cards. There is an option within properties for frame blending. Great! I do not have Blackmagics yet (just trying to get "right" usb3.0 for my laptops<->blackmagic hardware) - tested with other brands. Could you please post screenshot with thi...

Re: Deinterlace method in Resolume.

I do not capture and encode. I'm testing live inputs in Resolume and for pure result take screenshots of resolume output window. So there is no third party softaware or codec. Just me, Resolume and live input from another laptop with test signal. Tested various hardware: usb, pci-e and firewire. Sam...
