Recording freezes

when i try to record and play with effects and speed after like 20sec it freezes and write the file without me stopping recording

how much ram do you have spare when you start to record?

Try recording using siphon recorder or OBS, people often have better results that way.

i have 32gb 3000mhz in my desktop and my cache is cleared from After Effects if that helps. How do I set how much ram to spare for Arena?

Use an external program to record everything. Some dudes use fraps and shadow play.
