Post by rawdesigns »

Do ya’all use noise canceling headphones at your venue? I know it’s impossible to cancel out the heavy bass but wanna know what brand everyone is using

I use hearing protection but certainly not headphones or anything that amplifies.

Good old Bose Quietcomfort do their job. But I use to wear simple pasive earplugs.

Over the ear, ear defenders are pretty good, sound quality is pretty good, comfortable over long periods of time, massively lowers the volume, bass still thumps your chest. I've got some 30db ones.

Many of us use noise-canceling headphones to control sound levels. I think brands like Bose, Sony and Sennheiser are all good because of their effective noise canceling and the comfort of wearing them.half body sexdoll

Hello,
Nice to see a topic, about hearing protection because as VJs, we are more exposed to the sound than djs.
The vj is always there, all the time but many times the dj change.
Im doing vjing since 2006, but only in 2010 i started using earplugs, the orange ones from 3M or Macks, that could reach 38db of protection. Never used earmuffs, but sometimes i feel that earplugs are not enough, especially when we are outdoor, right in front of the stage.
We should protect our ears at all cost, and for long events a pause of 5/10 minutes might be the best thing do.
