ok will try encoder adobe after effects and that if I selection, Final Cut Pro does not allow so fine selections in the encoded output.

Ok tested and I have to add two seconds to the length of the solid to jump at once to the next column. I understand nothing.

I just did a quick test, and the autopilot kicks in at exactly the same time for stills, sources and movie files, even at the lowest possible buffer size.
Are you 100% sure you do not have the master speed slightly lower than 1?

I'm sure. I timed and these are the results:
Video: Audio Duration 00: 20: 000 Timed to jump to the next column: 00:20:00
Solid or image: set to 20000 milliseconds actual duration to jump to the next column 00:19 seconds.
I think the problem is in the duration set in milliseconds since they are not correct.

All right! I have generated new composition from scratch and everything seems to work ok. perhaps the original file was corrupt.
