Is it possible to command the switcher via RS-232C from the resolume?

Post by maruo »

Hello,
I want to send commands from resolume to the switcher via RS-232C.

rs-232c or the Ethernet method is also acceptable. We would appreciate it if you could tell us how to set it up.

Directly, No.
However you can send out OSC or DMX from Arena and then use a free translator app like Chataigne to convert to other protocols.

The switcher might support Midi, Resolume can send that.

Mr. Arvol, Mr.Zoltán
Thank you for your response.
I will try to connect with OSC or DMX to check.
We will also check if the switcher supports Midi.
We will contact you again with the results of the confirmation.

Hello maruo,

From your image, I infer that the switcher is made by Imagenics (I am Japanese, so I fully understand the reliability of that Japanese manufacturer). Unfortunately, however, they do not adopt external control via MIDI/OSC/DMX protocols in any of their models.
