Randomise Parameter on MIDI input

I'm working with a guitarist who is interested in using, for instance, Lines. He's using MiGiC to translate his guitar into MIDI signals, which in turn trigger individual clips or parameters within clips.

How should we go about having a few parameters be random on each trigger? Like "Rotation" where each guitar string plucked triggers the Lines clip but also with a randomised rotation (or a sequence of other paramters randomised), making the clip feel more organic.

And if you are suggesting Wire using MIDI/OSC, how do I get around the loopback issue ie I need to loop back the signal into Resolume from within Resolume (using Wire as an Effect). If you are suggesting a loopback software, such as OSCulator, I've been down that path, and would love to see a functional example and setup…

Ideas?

Use a noise envelope and random play setting

This could be done perfectly with Wire, but not as a FX but as a source, the lines effect is very easily made in Wire, and then you can add all kinds of randomness to it. I made you a little start.
