My issue that is now randomly happening is very similar to this...

all mapped DMX values I've setup refuse to load from a saved composition, this started happening in January, and it's the second time it has happened. if I re-create them manually (I wrote them all down in a notebook), close resolume, reload they work fine. it works across reboots just fine... until it doesn't that is. after it forgets, no amount of reloading the composition or rebooting helps. at that point, the only option is manual re-creation of the DMX shortcut remap. help please?

Does the shortcut still exist on disk when it doesn't want to load any more in Documents/Resolume Arena/Shortcuts/DMX ?

I kind of had this with midi shortcuts.

The xml done was still there but it had gotten corrupted somehow and then when it was time for a reboot.... It was gone.

I did have backups of the shortcuts so I could get it back.

Check to see if the xml files are there and just got corrupted.

would be good to see such a corrupted file, and the Resolume logs from the shutdown before

here are the two files I found in that DMX directory. It's not a complex map, I just use it for some simple layer clip selection and level control in resolume (5 layers). the one called "EBDMXMap-2025-Resolume.xml" is the file I saved the day that I recreated the DMX map (the third time). I'm guessing that the file called "Default.xml" is the screwed up file? I never bothered to save the DMX map when I first created it, years ago (and in turn, re-created it again after it glitched for the first time, months ago). I guess if/when it happens again, and if that "default" file is not the problem child, I'll know where to look. Thanks!

So, if these are the only files you have in the DMX shortcuts, I'd say you might be reusing shortcut presets.
If you delete stuff in the default preset, those will be gone when using other compositions.

Compositions and presets are separate.
Compositions saving stores the active preset reference in the composition, and Resolume will try to load that preset on opening the composition.

Since you’ve confirmed that manually re-creating the mappings works across reboots until it randomly fails again, it could be related to a corruption in the DMX mapping file or an issue with how Resolume saves/loads these settings.
