DXV Playback Issues.

Experiencing choppy playback with DXV codec on Arena/Avenue, any suggestions for optimization?

I've run into similar issues before — a few things that helped were converting clips to DXV 3 instead of DXV 2, making sure hardware acceleration is enabled, and turning off auto-gain in the clip properties. Also, check your drive speed; playback can get choppy if you're running from an external USB 2.0 or a slower SSD. Hope that helps!
