We're rolling out our solution to 10+ sites in the next year (and currently have 3 active sites), with multiple operators with varying level of expertise and abilities, who will be interfacing (very minimally) with the Resolume Arena client. (Currently just to update text in a text box)

Everything else is controlled via controller (clip launching etc)

What we need is the ability to lock clip positions from column to column or layer to layer to prevent an operator from accidentally dragging a clip somewhere undesirable.

Ideally it would come in the form of a 'Global clip position lock'.

Not exactly what you're asking for, but sounds to me like using our Webserver & REST API with a little webpage that has some text input fields might be a way to go, so operators who don't know how to use the software don't have to touch it at all?
