I'm glad you have been able to reproduce the problem and plan a fix.
I look forward to the next release.

Re: playback FPS
I finally launched System Profiler to get more details about this MacBook Pro. It has a 2.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and its video card is a GeForce 8600M GT.

Re: Rearrange decks problem and solution
Well my great idea worked once, but when I relaunched Avenue tonight the decks were all rearranged and this time way more out of whack than they were before. This is my first time using 3.1.3, maybe there's a problem in this version?

Rearrange decks problem
Somehow between last night and tonight my decks rearranged themselves (maybe because I upgraded from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3?), I searched through the manual and tried various dragging while holding down key modifiers but couldn't get them to rearrange.

playback FPS
In this post I was told that frame rate of recordings made by Avenue will fluctuate making for movies of unexpected durations.

Last night I was beginning to set up my decks for a performance later this month and I swear some of the clips played back at a frame ...

Re: Alpha Channel doesn't define transparency
It was my fault, I forgot to turn off a temporary solid layer in my After Effects comp (note to self: Always make temporary not-to-be-rendered layers Guide Layers so they won't be included in the render!).
Sorry everyone.

Re: Alpha Channel doesn't define transparency
Strangely another one of my movies that has an alpha does work as I expect. But both movies show they are Millions+ in QuickTime Player. I'll render some shorter test clips and will post them online if the answer doesn't become immediately obvious.

Alpha Channel doesn't define transparency
I have an incoming clip that I want to bring over the outgoing clip using an alpha channel. I have a long history in video production so I know all about alpha channels, so I was expecting that with the layer's blend mode set to "Alpha" and its Video slider all the way up the alpha would define the ...
