Re: Multichannel Audio Output planned?
I check in with Resolume once in a while to see if this has been implemented. I am sad to see that is not yet there. I work on some stage and art installation stuff in which multi-channel input is necessary. I do some work in isadora and touch designer, but it would be sooooo much easier to do many ...

Re: Using multiple audio channels to drive audioreactive parameters
Thanks for your input. The beat doctor looks really interesting. I will investigate this.

Using multiple audio channels to drive audioreactive parameters
Hello.
I'm been away from Resolume for some time now - I have gone the Isadora route for a while. It is a lovely environment. One of the main reasons for this was the ability to use multi-channel audio to drive animation which Resolume did not do back in 2016.

Re: SMPTE and Embedded AUDIO and FFT Input
Thanks for your response. I understand your use case. Not to beat a dead horse, but I wanted to make sure that I am articulating my interest clearly as I am not sure I have done a very good job of this.
My interest would be in syncing clips to an external SMPTE source AND allowing me to modulate ...

Re: SMPTE and Using Audio FFT
Well I think I spoke too soon. It looked like it was working but what I was seeing was the SMPTE mixed in with program audio in the FFT input.
I think it is not possible to use two different devices to feed SMPTE and Program Audio respectively into resolume.
I put in a feature request to allow ...

Re: SMPTE and Embedded AUDIO and FFT Input
Thanks for your reply.
I understand the SMPTE and audio playback issue.
I am wondering about the other request. Would it be possible to add the ability to select a single channel (left or right) for the Audio FFT? This would allow SMPTE to be on one channel and Audio information to be on the other ...

SMPTE and Embedded AUDIO and FFT Input
Hi,
It would be great to be able to use audio while using the SMPTE sync:
1 - to select the channel that FFT uses. It would allow audio for FFT on one channel and SMPTE on another.
2 - ability to use clips with embedded audio with SMPTE sync.

Re: SMPTE and Using Audio FFT
I have a kind of Rube Goldberg work around here:
- create an audio track with SMPTE on the left channel and audio on the right channel
- use an external audio interface (I dug out my old M-Audio Traveler)
- Send the left (SMPTE) channel to the internal audio interface, and the right (MONO AUDIO) to ...
